Best Hitter for Mountain West Conference
Sean McNaughton
BYU didn't have an impressive '08 campaign, but the rest of the team hopes to build on what outfielder Sean McNaughton accomplished last season. As a sophomore in '08, McNaughton was one of the league's best hitters. He finished the season batting .363 with 14 homers and 55 RBIs. He also recorded 20 doubles, four triples and 157 total bases. Additionally, he had a slugging percentage of .654 and a .407 on-base percentage. He also was 21-for-29 in stolen bases and recorded just three errors in the field to finish the season with a .968 fielding percentage. With the Cougars looking to bounce back this season, McNaughton could make a huge difference.
