Modesto

On Sunday we went to Modesto where Dave grew up. We took pictures of him at all the schools he went to when he was young. Dave thought it was totally lame but I told him our kids will love to see these pictures!

San Francisco

For December 30 (Dave's Birthday) we all went to San Francisco. When Dave was living in Modesto his family would always go to San Francisco for the day during Christmas so we continued the tradition and went to the city.

We were only in the city for a few hours so we hit the major cites: Lombard Street, Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Warf, and Union Square. We also rode the Trolley which was so much FUN! We also had pizza at Blondie's(Hawks family tradition) which I totally recommend. The pizza was HUGE and totally yummy!

Columbia & Rail Town

I just couldn't resist. I do have the cutest butt...

One of the days we went to two places. One of the places is called Columbia and it is a small mining town.

Then we went to Rail Town and saw some old trains. A lot of Western movies were filmed in the town like Back to the Future.

CHRISTMAS DAY!

This year for Christmas we went to Twain Harte (which is a small town near Yosemite). Dave's grandma lives in Twain Harte so everyone decided to go California. Christmas day was full of lounging around and opening gifts. It snowed all day so we were cooped up but in the afternoon it cleared up and we took a walk. We took lots of pictures of the scenery so make sure to check those out. Dave especially enjoyed wearing his festive Christmas sweater!

It's a hard life...

This picture above is a normal occurrence...they always have to be both laying on top of me and right next to me...I guess they love their mom...

My New Toy: Nikon D60

For the past few months you probably have been wondering why I haven't posted any pictures well it was because my old digital camera broke. It surprisingly lasted me 5 years and it was quite embarrassing to carry anywhere because it weighed too much and was lame. So this year my mom got me a new camera for Christmas. I did a ton of research and wanted a "really really" nice camera that would give me amazing pictures. I decided on the Nikon D60 and I LOVE it! It cost a lot but will be totally worth it. On my first day of shooting I took almost 300 pictures!
